Joe Holt, Owner and President for Land Services, Inc. oversees the company-wide direction, growth and financial health of LSI. He directs business development and marketing strategies for the Oil and Gas and Right-of-Way Divisions as well as developing initiatives to engage in new growth markets. Joe founded LSI in 1994 and through his leadership and experience, has led the company to year-over-year growth and profitability. He has been instrumental in attracting Michigan's largest Oil and Gas clients to LSI. Additionally, Joe led the successful expansion of LSI acquiring a diverse client base in other states in the Midwest and Rocky Mountain regions. In 1988, Joe formed Quantum Energy, Inc., a company that has been involved in many oil and gas exploration ventures in Michigan's Silurian-Niagaran Reef Trend. Since its formation, Quantum has raised millions of dollars for the drilling and completion of these drilling ventures. He remains as President and Owner where he is responsible for the development and drilling of oil and gas exploration programs in Michigan. Under Joe's direction Quantum was able to involve the company in a multitude of successful drilling ventures and leasing programs. In 1983 Joe assisted in the startup of PetroStar Energy, an oil and gas exploration company. As Manager of Investor Relations his responsibilities included overseeing two joint ventures in Colorado and Texas, which included multiple drilling programs. He also coordinated multi-state land exchanges and leasing programs in excess of 50,000 acres. Professional affiliations include the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce, the American and Michigan Associations of Professional Landmen (AAPL, MAPL), the Michigan Oil and Gas Association (MOGA) and the International Right of Way Association (IRWA). He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lake Superior State University and is a licensed Michigan Real Estate Broker. | |||
